II Makhani PaneerII

Ingredients: ( Serves : 4)

  • 3tbsp oil
  • 1tsp minced ginger
  • 1tsp minced garlic
  • 2 onions (chopped, boiled until soft & translucent and ground to paste)
  • 10 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp cumin powder
  • 1tsp tandoori masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 2 cups Paneer / cottage cheese(cubed)
  • 6tbsp heavy cream (malai)
Preperation :
  • Heat oil in a kadhai or wok and add the minced ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute.
  • Add the onion paste and sauté until the oil separate. Then add tomato puree and all spices. Stir well.
  • Add the salt and sugar and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Drop in paneer cubes gently, without breaking it. Simmer for a minute and take off from the heat.
  • Serve hot with generous swirl of whipped cream on top.
