About Marathi
							Marathi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the 
			Marathi population of India. Marathi is primarily spoken in 
			Maharashtra and parts of neighboring states. It is the official 
			language of the state of Maharashtra. Marathi is the oldest of the 
			regional literatures in Indo-Aryan languages. Marathi is thought to 
			be a descendent of Maharashtri, one of the Prakrit languages which 
			developed from Sanskrit. The script currently used in Marathi is 
			called 'bALbodh' which is a modified version of Devnaagari script..
